Hymns

This page contains links to files of various hymns used over the years in the hope they will prove useful to others.

Some are from British hymnals, where they are printed with the words separate from the music; the PDF files here present them with the words between the two staves.

Others are from The Hymnal 1982 (of the Episcopal Church of the USA), where they are printed with the words between the staves; the files here present them with the words separate from the music. These are offered as Microsoft Word files, the intention being to make it possible to cut and paste the graphics and the texts into service papers.

Thus each hymn is presented in the opposite format to that of its "home hymnal", hopefully making life a little easier for people who are accustomed to one or the other format.

Finally, there are other assorted hymns used over the years, such as a version of a hymn in Igbo.
